Songstress Esther Akoth alias Akothee has told married women off over their perceived refusal to share their husbands with single ladies.
Armed with a machete, the president of single mothers said that no woman could claim exclusive rights over any man unless she had given birth to him.
“Which husband is this that is yours, that you gave birth to that you do not let single women enjoy something small also?”
The plight of single women who are in entanglements with married men has been evident ever since the lockdown as married women ‘zero-grazed’ their husbands not allowing them to leave their homes.
Snoopy wives have often confronted their ‘competitors’ [ mpango wa kando ] after usually accessing their husbands’ phones where the evidence of the cheating is usually apparent.
Akothee has however bashed married women telling them not to disturb single ladies as they were suffering out here.
“Tie your husband at home and don’t come and disturb us with ‘Leave my husband’ pleas,” the mother of five said.
The number of eligible bachelors with the qualities that women want has been on the decline in recent years forcing women to fight each other silly over a handful of men that are considered “husband material”. This has led to accusations of husband snatching which has led to violent altercations.
However, It is yet to be know what married women make of the sentiments expressed by the Singer.
